Thanks for checking in our Salmon Arm Hockey School website. We are proud to say we begin our 31st year of hockey school operation, 20 years in Enderby and now starting our 11th year at Sunwave Centre in Salmon Arm. We are perhaps one of the longest running hockey schools in B.C.!
As you will see in our website, we offer a variety of programs for every kind of hockey player whether it be the budding novice player at five years old, the upstart female hockey
player, the rep player wanting to be pushed to the next level or the never-say-die adult male who is there for the fun and camaraderie that only a summer oldtimers hockey tournament
can bring.
The success of our hockey school has been attributed to a number of things, a great facility, good programming and perhaps the strongest feature, excellent instructors. Headlining our
staff this year are Ryan Marsh, presently instructor at the All Sport School in Edmonton, and Aaron Konescni from Redline High Performance Hockey Schools who will be the head instructor of the elite rep prep camp. Goaltenders, don't miss out in registering for the
Pro-formance Goaltending School lead by Sean Murray. He and his staff are on the leading edge of goaltending instruction.
Eighth Annual Pro-Am Scholarship Hockey Game at Sunwave Centre - August 11th
The best summer hockey entertainment in the Okanagan takes place at the Sunwave Centre August 11th. A great line-up of stars from the National Hockey League, the American Hockey
League, the WHL, the BCHL and the College Ranks get together to support the Pro-Am Scholarship Game.
Former winners include former Silverback captain Bryn Gagnon of the SAIT Trojans, Trevor Geiger of Saint Scholastica, Trevor Galan of the University of Calgary Dinosaurs and Robbie Rodgers of Saint Scholastica.
