Elite Rep Prep School (Ages 13-17) August 11-15
1.25 hours of Power Skating.
Focus on Technique, Power and Speed.
1.25 Hours of Skill Development, Game Concept, Puck Support, Backchecking, Positioning and Transition.
Off ice Physical Training.
Focus on Quickness, Speed and Agility.
Aaron has developed on and off ice-skating and skill development systems that strengthen proper muscles while maintaining strict technique. Once players' muscle memory is strengthened while following the proper technique, Aaron then develops players' explosive power and quickness. He has developed his skills working with and researching some of the worlds' best power skating skills and off-ice training professionals.

Skate and Skills (Ages 6-16) August 11-15 & 18-22
3 Hours on ice instruction including Power Skating.
1 hour off ice instruction including Games, Stretching, Conditioning and Lectures. Skills Competition and Game Day Friday.
Starts and Stops, Turns, Stride, Stance and Quick turns are all part of the focus in the Power Skating Program.

Pre-Season Conditioning (Ages 10-17) August 25-28
1.5 Hours daily. On ice only.
Focus on conditioning for upcoming tryouts and camps.
Focus is on Drills, Skills and Scrimmages at a high pace.
Groups based on age, Size and Ability.

3 on 3 Skills and Conditioning (Ages 10-Pro) July 29-August 21
3 Age Groups: Atom - Pee Wee, Bantamn - Midget, Junior - Pro.
1.5 hours on ice, twice weekly.
Very fast paced Drills and Scrimmages for players attending Rep Tryouts, Junior and Pro Camps.
Eight Sessions.
Those enrolling in the above on-ice program can register for a one hour off-ice program by Twist trained personnel at Pro-Active Fitness prior to each on-ice session.


Fundamental Skills (Ages 5-7) August 11-15
1.25 hours of on ice instruction.
Focus on Skating, Puck Handling, Passing and Fun!
Skills Competition and Game Day.
Full Hockey Gear Required.
Participants must be independant skaters.

Defencemen School (Ages 8-16) August 4-8
2.5 Hours of ice instruction.
Focus on Skating and Foot Speed, Puck Handling, Passing, Shooting as well as One on One Body Contact and Positioning.
Off ice Lectures and Dryland are a part of this program.
Shea Weber returns for his fifth year as a guest instructor. He will be one of the most outstanding defencemen in the NHL. Former WHL defenceman for the Kelowna Rockets and a past member of the World Junior Championship Canada Team. Shea will be instructing this popular program if his schedule permits.

Shoot to Score (Ages 8-16) July 28-August 1
1.5 hours of ice instruction.
Focus on Mechanics of a Wrist, Backhand, Snap Shot and Slap Shot.
Also, pointers in Deking and Breakaway Technique.

Salmon Arm Hockey School will join up with Pro Active Fitness for the off-ice program once again this summer. The school received outstanding feedback from players and parents about this program. Included in the registration fee, this part of the program will be hockey specific, focusing on agility, quickness, first step quickness, rotational power, balance, muscular activation and sequencing. All areas will be devoted to enhancing the player's on-ice performance.
This pro-sport conditioning will be included in the following sessions: Goaltending, Elite Rep Prep, Skate and Skills and Defencemen.
Note: In the 3 on 3 program, players registering for the on-ice program can enrol in the Pro-Active Fitness off-ice program for only $75 which includes 8 one-hour sessions before the on-ice program.
